Eeryonegroup

  • Hi,

I am using evryone group to give access to evryone on the server. But some how this is not working properly.Does that matter if i define the security from my local machine??Or i have to do it on the server.I have to map the users manually to give the permissions.

  • It shouldn't matter from which machine the security is defined. Presuming that the everyone group is a domain group within the same domain as the Analysis Services server you should be good to go. What are the specific symptoms you are seeing? IE: are cubes not visible to some or all users? Are cubes visible but denied or allowed dimensions/members not being handled properly?

  • I got this fixed.I had to change the enforce on parameter to client rather than server.
