Dear Guys,
Could you please advise me to increase my market value for SQL DBA ? I haven't done any certification so far.
Based on your experience, pls. advise me which one is most valuable and provide me the necessary details to take those exams.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Really and truely any may help but I have walked into places who don't care what you are certified for. Some want experience and some will take a certification (usually but not always if no experience at JR level). I suggest look at some of the companies that interest you most and find out what they are looking for. Most if they like certification will want at least an MCSE with SQL as the options. But if you are going down the SQL path I would aim to get an MCDBA if you are going to be more than a developer and can help even as a developer.

I've started seeing a few jobs in Denver asking for the MCDBA cert, but not many. I think this is mainly to limit the number of resumes from people.
I think the certification is ok, but you should have experience before you get it. If you haven't worked with SQL for a year, then all you have proved is you can read and memorize.

I agree - though proving it isnt the worst idea!

nothing is a substitute for experience. An exam or certification might be a differentiator between 2 equally qualified applicants. It won't get you a job alone.
I suggest the 120-day free trial of SQL server. It comes with all you need to get certified.
