I'm trying to write an osql script using xp_cmdshell. The test script that i'm trying out is:
exec xp_cmdshell 'osql -Q "select * from sysobjects" '
According to the books on line this should work. However, i'm getting and error which is:
PASSWORD:
[Shared Memory]SQL Server does not
exists or access is denied
[Shared Memory]ConnectionOpen (Connect()).
NULL.
I was wondering if anyone can help me out.
Thank you

I've tried it both ways using the -E and the -U/-P options. I also have administrative rights so this should not be a problem. Through all this I still get the same errors. Any thoughts?
Thanks
