I am new to this site and to working with mssql. My question is this: we are running sql server 7.0 on windows NT. We are having a problem with logins being recorded in the log and eventviewer every few seconds while users are connected. The database as far as I can tell is set only to audit failures. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

If the audit was changed to 'audit failures only', but not stopped and restarted I think it would carry on logging the lot.

Thanks. I'll give that a try and see what happens.

Let us know if that helps. Also, what Service pack is this? (SQL and NT)
