What is the best book/websites to get information on how to tune and administer sql2k to is fullest potential?

Not really any specific books that do that. This site and http://www.sql-server-performance.com have been most usefull to me. A lot of things are learned by experience and testing as each server has subtle differences that make tuning challenging. Many things are actually problems with coding or indexes. Some are hardware and layout. What specifically are you finding to be an issue? Is you first question then find something specific to that issue. Otherwise read anything and everything you can get you hands on and test and ideas you have.

Thanks for the info. No, I am not having any issues, to speak of. I'm just looking for anything that can teach me to create well planned traces, etc on the servers so I can check performance and tune accordingly.
