  Our first data warehouse product has arrived in-house and I'm new to the whole area of Analysis services (we have Sql 2k, ASP2). The warehouse is just a few megabytes in size at this moment but how can I back it up? (and restore it for that matter).

  To archive:

  In AS manager, right click the olap database and select archive database. etc...

  To restore:

  In AS manager, right click the server and select restore database. etc...

  You can also use the msmdarch executable from a batch file. Then you can run it from a DTS package or a job.
