This is based on comments Andy posted in reference to an article I wrote. Perhaps those of us that are writing articles could include a 20-30 word abstract with the articles to help out.

Here's my thoughts... when scientific papers are prepared for review or for publication, a short abstract (100-150 words usually) is prepared and attached, sort of the same way a cover letter is. If we apply the same sort of process as writers, it'll make it easier on Andy, Brian, Steve, and the rest of the owners.

That would be nice. It would also help us in scheduling articles for publication.

I agree as it that it would be usefull. What I really get frustraighted with is good articles with great names but they don't have any information that I need. A short synopsis in the begining would make it easier to see if it is relavent to you before you read an extremly long piece.
