SQL job Scheduling

    hi All,

    I have created a job & scheduled everyday @12.15AM in my dev server. Now i reight click on the job ->Script Job as -> Create to New Query

    The job script opens in new Query editor.

    My question is that the job has @schedule_uid. Now i take this script & execute on another server[UAT server]. will it create the job with same scheduling as it is in Dev server

    or

    causes error with @schedule_uid

    Hi,

    It does not throw any error at the schedule. It creates the job with the same schedule that runs at 12.15 as the original job. However, if the script has any operators (email, page) and these operators are not configured on the UAT box, the script throws the error as it is not able to find the specified operator.
