I took a pretty simple dts through the migration wizard. No errors reported and the last entry in the log file from the effort is:
LogID=12
#Time=4:23 PM
#Level=DTSMW_LOGLEVEL_MSG
#Source=Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.MigrationWizard.Framework.Framework
#Message=Successfully saved the package "New Package" in the destination "(local)\MyMigratedDTS".
I can't find any relevant .DTSX on the server machine
I don't see any drilldowns that take me to SSIS or DTSX routines.
Did I miss a drilldown? or the idea that (local) is on my (c:) drive on the machine where the migration was run?
I searched in hidden, etc. folder.
The log file was where it was supposed to be. Can any one point me in the right direction?
thanks

All right, more info:
If I use the migration wizard and proceed as described above. I get a log ,but can't find an entry in any drilldown or search of the hard disk.
If I then do the migration wizard a second time: I get the alert error:
The package "c mais support AffRegInfoImport" already exists on the server.
Well yeah, SQL says it already exists -- but where should I see it so I can edit it as a 2005 dtsx.
So where is this. The package name I'd orginally typed in was c:\mais support\AffRegInfoImport (trying to put it someplace I could find it).
Ok, I understand its not a hard drive path. But what is it? and where?
If I do the import package via legacy->DTS. I do see a package under legacy dts when Im'm done -- but its a 2000 legacy package -- I'd like to "migrate" this to 2005 -- the "migrate" thinks its working -- but won't let me see the results (ie the package, so I can edit it)
What! am I missing?
thanks for any widsdom imparted, B
