Hi
I am trying to configure the dbmail on Sql server2005 SP2. When iam trying to send the test mail it is giving me the following error:
The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 5 (2010-01-20T14:29:46). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (No such host is known). )
I am using the smtp.gmail.com server on port 25. I am able to connect to this server using telnet.
Command: at the cmd prompt: telnet smtp.gmail.com 25
It is successfully connecting to it but when iam trying to end the test mail its giving me the error.

Any guidance in this regard will be immensely Appreciated.
