SSIS and ODBC account in IBM Universe

  Hi guys,

  I have an ODBC account setup in an IBM Universe database. I need to be able to pull data out of the Universe database with SSIS, and load it into SQL Server (2005). I've had luck connecting through Access 2007, but when I try and do the same sort of query in SSIS I get an error on the first field. The error really isn't helpful at all. Have any of you had success at doing this or could point me in the right direction?

  One thing that I was able to do is have a make table query in Access that the SSIS package could load data from there. That worked really well but I'd rather not have to rely on Access to update all my data.
