  Hello:

  I am working on creating SSIS packages. I would like to know what is the advantage of creating package using Stored Procedure versus writing embedded SQL in the SSIS package itself.

  It depends. Are you talking about for a source or for an Execute SQL Task within the package? It also depends on the work you are trying to accomplish with the SSIS package?
