DTS Package

    Hi All,

    I have a job which calls DTS Packege on execution.

    I have provided the DTS package name in the command of Job step.

    DTS Packege is working fine.

    But when I am executing the job it is giving error as:

    Help file: DTSFFile.hlp Help context: 0 Error Detail Records: Error: 32 (20); Provider Error: 32 (20) Error string: Error opening datafile: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

    Can sumbody help plz......

    Sounds like you may have two processes running that want exclusive access to the same file at the same time. What else is running when this job executes?

    Is one of the connections to an excel file? I have seen this error MANY times when a connection is pointing at an excel file that somebody has open..
