I removed my existing failover passive node and added a new server to the mix. SQL Server 2005 added the node just fine. I went to patch this new server to SP2 by running the SP2 patch on the passive node. During the patching I was unable to select Data Services. The checkbox was not checked and it did not give me the ability to do so.
I read several clustering docs and have browsed the forums with no idea why this might be the case. Anyone have this issue in the past?
