SQLServerCentral is issuing a public apology to Itzik Ben-Gan.
We ran an article earlier this week that had plagiarized content from Itzik Ben-Gan's book on windowing functions. We removed the article once we were informed and verified this, but we felt the need to issue a public apology for the oversight. This article was written by Kamil Moscicki, who also has a video site with tutorials for sale on T-SQL subjects. We are not linking to the site, and we would warn anyone about purchasing content that is potentially plagiarized and is a violation of copyright law.
To show our support for Mr. Ben-Gan, we have decided to give away 10 copies of the book to a random set of community members. We are shipping the book from Amazon.com, so only those eligible for a paperback (or Kindle) version from the US or UK Amazon stores are eligible.
The rules of the contest are simple:

Microsoft SQL Server 2012 HIgh-Performance T-SQL Using Window Functions is another great book from Mr. Ben-Gan and we would encourage you to purchase a copy and read it if you have the need to use the window functions in your SQL Server application. The book takes a comprehensive look at the changes to T-SQL in SQL Server 2012 and gives you numerous examples and ideas for how you can incorporate this code into your own application.
