hello,
We are planning to install SP3 in our production servers.
Could you clarify me that 'Is it too early to apply SP3 to production sql servers'?
is this the correct version after installing SP3?
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4035.00 (X64)

This post has the only issues I've seen reported:
I have not done it yet, but will be in the next couple of weeks.

On the page to request the SP3 CU1 hotfix, there are two files listed ...
Yukon_SP3_CU1_SNAC
Yukon_SP3_CU1
Does anybody know what's the difference/what's the "SNAC" version for?
Is it just me or it seems strange why these CU1 fixes were not included in SP3 in the first place?

Yukon_SP3_CU1_SNAC-> for SQL native client
Yukon_SP3_CU1->for full CU1 installation
if you install Yukon_SP3_CU1, then no need to go for Yukon_SP3_CU1_SNAC

A service Pack is a fixed point where microsoft guarantee all fixes in it to be fully tested and safe to apply to all environments. Microsoft have to draw a line somewhere where any hotfixes later than that are not included in their testing. SP3 is roughly equivalent to CU9 (if memory serves). therefore if you were previously at CU10 when you applied SP3 you would in fact lose some hotfixes, that is where the post SP3 CU1 comes in.

Hi
I downloaded this file, but when I try to extract it it asks me to provide the last disk, because it is part of multidisk zip file? am I missing something?

Any ideas where I can get Yukon_SP3_CU1 becasuse the HOT FIX web site is only giving Yukon_SP3_CU1_SNAC.
