I have a Job scheduled to execute a procedure in SQL server 2000. I am able to look into the history of the job by right clicking on the job in Enterprise manager. Is there some way, by which the logs can be entered into a text file.

You can use Query Analyzer to query msdb.dbo.sysjobhistory and sysjobs and set the output to a text file.
