dts package upgrade from sql server 2000 to 2005

    Hi all,

    i upgraded dts apckage using migration wizrad under management studio -> legacy -> data transformation services. after succesfulkl migration i cannot see them under legacy or under sql server agent ->proxies->SSIS package execution

    i opened it thru business intelligence development tool saved it but still i cannot see the package under the legacy nor under sql server agent ->proxies->SSIS package execution

    where is my dts package going? how do i see the upgraded package?

    if i need to edit this packe how do i do them

    You need to connect to "INTEGRATION SERVICES" and then you will be able to see the packages either under MSDB or File System.

    Object Explorer->Connect-> "Integration Services"

    Your package is no longer a legacy DTS package, but an SSIS package. You must use BIDS to make changes to SSIS packages as the designer is not part of Management Studio like the DTS Designer was part of Enterprise Manager.
