Hi,
I have a report which contains many columns.
So the users need to scroll to left/right to get the full view.
Any suggestion to make the report format fit in one landscape style.
DO I need using subreport to split it?
If I use sub report How Do I make it so the next additional columns ( sub report ) underneath the first one.
I mean for example
ClientA,data1,data2,data3,data4 ( primary report)
data5,data6,data7 ( Subreport)
Thanks
Susan

You can "stack" information on more than one row, but it makes the report harder to read.
Right click on the Detail row indicatior on the left side of the table control. Select Insert Row.
Otherwise it is difficult to have it print on one page wide. the display when designing a report is wysiwyg so only allow as much space as required for the desired print output.

I tried your suggestion and you are right a bit messy.
I would like to have a reports with not many columns
unfortunately only this report can't be avoided.
Thanks,

I would suggest using a drill-down on any items that can be grouped together, or use a hot link on particular item to launch into another report.

Yes - I have done it using drill down.
btw - I have another question if we want the report to appear in lanscape format - How do we do it?
The only thing I can do is to modify the layout tab in report properties.
when I export the report to PDF - I want the report in landscape format.
Thanks,
Susan
