blank pages between tables in excel rendering

  • Hi everyone,

    I don't have any clue how to solve the problem.  If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate that.

    I have a report (landscape layout) created getting data from SQL server.  The report looks fine except it inserts extra blank pages between tables.  The body of the page in layout is clearly shows less than 11in.  The size of the layout from report properties is page widthe 11in page height 8.5 in.  0in of all hte margins, column spacing 0 in.

    Is theis something to do with grid spacing?  Is it default to 0.125 in?  Draw grid and Snap to grid are checked.

    Please help,

  • Hi,

    I had similier problem and found out the following

    The width = the body + the Report margin.

    e.g. in my report, the margins are: Left .5 and Right .5

    Body width size  is 10. --> .5 +.5 + 10 = 11

    Hope its helped.

  • Thank you very much for the reply. I have tried various things, I found out the problem is I have checked the fit into one page if possible and add page break at the end of the table from the table's properties window.

    While exporting to excel and fit the table to one page, it will add a page break after the table - as I indicated in the table's properties. I think sometime the margins do play a role in adding blank pages. But it looks like my problem is fixed now.

    Cheers
