Does anyone know if there is updated information on memory and processors capacity for SQL 2k ENT and SQL 2005 running on Windows 200 and Windows 2003 (32 bit and 64 bit)?

Looks like 8GB for SS2K (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/architec/8_ar_ts_8dbn.asp)
2005 is limited by Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/features/compare-features.mspx) and W2K Ent is 8GB, W2K3 Ent is 1TB on 64-bit (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/64bit/x64/enterprise.mspx)

If SS2k ENT support 8GB of memory on Window 2003, does AWE or PAE still need to be enabled?

Important .. task manager does not report actual memory usage when awe is enabled. The values in sysperinfo table are correct, I use this as a question for DBA's in interviews < grin >
W2003ent will support 32gb ram with sql2k ent .. I'm running such a server. Make sure you set the memory upper and lower to be the same, somewhere around 7Gb or less , your choice. If you're using awe you must not use dynamic memory allocation
