Hi all,
I am attempting to create a 2nd instance of SQL Server 2000 on an existing SQL Server machine. I started the installation process and received a message that a previous installation required a restart before the SQL installation could proceed. I restarted the server as requested but when I attempted the install after the restart I received the same message. I have seen this before but cannot remember what the fix is, I think we change something in the registry? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
