Good database backup plan

  can anyone give a good database backup plan for one of my production databases

  size of the database is about 120GB, no filegroups defined on the database only Primary

  we can afford to keep two days worth of backups on backup drive, please I need the complete

  backup plan including moving files offline to tape with the steps and procedures.

  Any help greatly appreciated, thanks so much

  You'll probably need to look at a 3rd party product like SQLLiteSpeed in order to get a compressed backup. Is the tape drive attached to the SQL Server or is it on a different server?
