  I'm trying to do a point in time restore and want to Leave database read-only and able to restore additional transaction logs, but even though I selected this option, it doesn't leave my database in read-only mode and able to restore additional transaction logs.

  Is there a way to switch the database to read-only and able to restore additional transaction logs without restoring the backup again?

  Haven't tried this, but since you have a partial log, I'd doubt you can do this.
