ssas 2008 how to remove total for non hierarchy dimension attributes

    Hi all,

    I am new to SSAS.

    As you can see there is a Total added automatically by SSAS. The Birth Date and Full Name are not in a hierarchy . They are both from the same dimension. I want to show birth date and full name. How to get rid of the Total?

    It looks like you are doing this in SSMS or browsing your cube in VS. Just drag the measure (Sales Amount column header) off of the browsing pane.

    I was doing it in BIDS 2008. I found if I right click the column header and untick the subtotal, then it's fine. But still, this looks like a bug to me.
