Dear All,
I did a MCIT 70-431.SQL_Server_2005_Implementation_&_Maintenance certification in 2010
now,
I want to sql server dba , I am very confused,
1) can I given first all papers of sql server 2008 ??
2) can I start scrap from bottom and given the all certification of sql server 2012 ???
which exams I would be give ??

I would skip the 2008 exams as they are expired. I think you can still take them, but they won't give you a certification.
The 2012 exams are the way to go.

SQL Server 2008 R2 exam is still valid and it is not going expire in near future.
One exam would give you MCTS and it will never expire.

The retirement date has been extended to July 13th of 2014 though, so you better hurry.

Bear in mind, 2008 exam has been changed to 2008 R2 long time ago and i decided to study for 70-433 after doing my research.

Not exactly the best resource material, as it can get outdated fast.

As per microsoft list of expiring exams, 70-433 is not there so i think it will expire in 2015.
