Hi Guys,
Can you guys assist me with this error message please.

then followed by these
Downgrading backup log buffers from 1024K to 64K
It started happening 3 days ago on our server.
We are running SQL Server 2005 sp2 standard edition on Win Server 2003

In addition to the above, we are getting the following message when a transaction log back up job is running.

32-bit Windows right?
This happens when your server runs out of MemToLeave memory area. It's related to limitations with the Virtual Address Space in 32-bit windows and the only cure is to restart the instance. You can try increasing your MemToLeave setting to something higher but if you're doing a lot of Linked Server or SQLCLR activities it may be time to think about upgrading to a 64-bit operating system.
