SQL 2005 maintenance plan schedule
The scheduled transaction log backup was running all fine ,lately I have changed some of the databases from Full recovery model to Simple recovery model as the database were out of production. Maintenance plan is not picking up the changes.
In maintenance plan history there is transaction failure error reported for the 'Simple recovery model'db. I have checked maintenance plan Simple recovery model database doesn't appear in transaction log backup list.
I even tried saving the maintenance plan but it doesn't work still reporting transaction log backup failures for 'simple recovery' databases?
why wouldn't maintenance plan pickup the changes automatically. Do I have drop and recreate the maintenance plan again?
Any help?
Thanks in advance

What service pack are you on ? There were maintenance plan bugs that were fixed in SP3

SP3 ,its a web server I can't apply patch right now, are there any other option available?

Yep, they always show as failure on my maint plans. On old sql (2000) any plans that have a txn log backup, and that contain db's with simple recovery, always throw an error in the log.
So I have a maint plan for db's with simple recovery and another maint plan with txn backup selected for db's with full recovery....
