Backup Corrupted

    Dear All,

    Iam facing the below error,when Iam trying to restore the full backup.

    'An internal consistency error occured sqlstate:42000"

    Even I have checked the backup by using RESTORE VERIFYONLY..as it's leaving a message i.e it's not valid as per the microsoft recommnedtion ....

    Please advise how can I proceed further.

    Take another backup.

    Thanks. but it's not possible to take another backup as database is in loading state.

    Then you are seriously in trouble, as that backup is not going to be restorable, and there's no 'continue after error' option on SQL 2000.

    Is there no other backup at all?
