database mirroring

  • gus can you help some of the quiries i have regarding database mirroring.

    if i set up mirroring with high safety (syncronous, manual faiover)mode i.e with principal and mirror only , will manual failover possible onto my mirror server if my principal goes down or crashes . If yes can anybody share the process

  • hi thanx for the reply. But the link refers that i need to connect to principle server for failover. My question is if my primary server goes down, and i am using high protection mode in mirroring can i manual failover the mirror server
