Hi All,
Tried to find solution on Google and here as well but to no avail.
I am working on Exam 70_448 materials. Chanpter 8, Lesson 3, Exercise 2 - Usage Based Optimization. I have created aggregations on Internet Sales using the Design wizard, pretty simple in previous lesson. However when I delete and recreate partitions based on year, I was able to use the wizard to run Design Aggregations and it appears to create aggregations but not many, only 4 (35% performance selection). I am not sure this is correct.
I have set up logging via the property value by right clicking on SSMS Analysis Services db (70448_Exam) and set up logging by setting all the Log \ ... \ values. Then running some queries against the cube AdventureWorksDW2008. I go to the db and look at the table and it is populated with what appears to be valid values.
Here's my issue(s):
Whenever I run the Usage Based Optimization wizard, select all partitions (InternetSales2001/2002/2003/2004), no query criteria, uncheck No Specific attributes, then I come to Specify Object Counts. I click count and it gives an EstimatedCount of 60398 and PartitionCount of same.
But, I get the triangle yellow warning box with exclamation point in dialog box with message of "Estimated Count or Partition Count must be specified for cube objects that require counting.
I have deleted and recreated and processed the partitions several times.
I have been doing my best to just follow the book and do what it says.
So, what am I doing wrong. This does not appear to be that difficult in theory but I feel like a dunce.
Thanks in advance.

BTW, I cleared all the EstimatedCounts and PartitionCounts as they are not recomputed if they exist. I have also tried deleting the Aggregations and redoing.
As an aside, I was able to easily create Usage Based Optimization(s) on the ResellerSales measure. However, it differs in that it only has one partition (all the data).
Thanks in advance.
