clear log shipping error from error log

  I keep seeing following error message in the SQL Server error log over and over:

  The log shipping primary database server55.salesdb has backup threshold of 60 minutes and has not performed a backup log operation for 933435 minutes. Check agent log and logshipping monitor information.

  there is no db with the name of salesdb on server55.. may there was one sometime ago and no one removed log shipping properly. how can I go about cleaning it up so I dont see messages about it every 15 mins in the error log.
