SSAS Tabular - Question About Roles and Deployment

  I have a tabular cube and whenever I deploy it from SSDT, it overwrites all the roles & memberships. Is there any way to prevent this?

  Yes, either build a deployment package (choosing not to overwrite the roles and members...or add the roles and members into your SSDT project.
