Upgrade MDAC

    I need to upgrade MDAC from

    Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)2000.085.1132.00 (xpsp.080413-0852)

    to

    Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)6.1.7600.1638

    how can I do it?

    My guess is that the version you are referencing is for one particular component within MDAC, maybe the dll to connect to SQL via ODBC or something of that nature but I believe MDAC as a whole is only at 2.8.
