Data Source table Name changed. Now Dimension Needs connecting to this new table

    Hi,

    I have renamed a table in the data source (Id accidentally deleted it first)

    Now when I go into the actual dimension I get 'The key column refers to an unknown table'

    It looks like I have to connect the dimension to this newly named table. I have ensured the table is in the data source pane within Dimension Structure but its still not being recognised.

    Is there anything I can do or do I have to go through the process of recreating the dimension from scratch?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Depending on how big you dimension is then recreating it is an option

    However you can change the table ID tho...

    Edit the dimension - click on each attribute and go to Properties --> KeyColumns --> The key column --> Source --> TableID

    You may have to do the same with the NameColumns
