I have SQL 2005 installed on Windows 2008.
Whenever I try to move the Quorum to the second node or move a resource from Node 1 to Node 2. It takes about 5 miutes.
How can I manually move the resources from Node 1 to Node 2 right away???

Hi ,
Could you be more specific?? I think you are talking about a windows clustered environment? If so maybe this link can be of any assistance:

yes, this is a cluster. The link is very confusing since it seems people are arguing. I just want a solution, why my nodes, in a cluster, takes a long time to failover.

I used Failover Cluster Manager.
I also tried via command prompt.. cluster group "group name" /move

I noticed that the resource FAILs (yes, it goes it failed state) and after sometime comes back online to the new node sucessfully.
I receive event ID 9 , 30 & 129.
