sql server 2005 table property textimage filegroup

    hi all,

    I have specified the text/image filegroup of a table to filegroup B different from the table filegroup

    but when I script out that table - create to script

    the textimage_on disappears in the generated script

    has any one face this problem before?

    Do you mean you've put a table on Filegroup B of a database and the rest of the tables are on Filegroup A of the database?

    i specified a table with the following column varbinary(max) and set the table property (text/image) filegroup to another filegroup

    but when i scripted out the table, textimage_on was not scripted out

    I did some test,

    size of the table default filegroup will increase but the textimage filegroup will not increase if I insert some data

    So the column type is varbinary?

    yes and i have specified a filegroup for that data type by specifying text/image filegroup
