ROLAP Storage mode

    Hello Every one,

    I have Created a cube with ROLAP Storage mode and enabled Proactive caching with Pooling query as a notification. in SQL Server Data tools.When i deploy this cube to the Analysis data base and browse the data , this is working fine when i retrieve an attribute from a dimension. I am getting error when i get two or more attributes from the same dimension.

    If i build the cube with OLAP Storage mode on the same data source i was able to get multiple attributes from the same dimension. I would appreciate if any one of you came across this issue.

    I am trying to create a semantic model for our reporting in Native mode. (purpose of this cube). I would appreciate any help.

    I've had the same issue's also and ended using MOLAP. Is there a particular reason why you are using ROLAP? From my experience, the storage cost of a MOLAP dimension far out weighs the benefits of a ROLAP dimension.
