KPI Browse issue in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005

  Hi Guys,

  I have designed a Cube in Visual Studio 2005. I can browse Cube and Calculated Members(in the form of Reports) in the browser provided by Visual Studio. But I am wondering why I am unable to browse KPI. My requirements is I want to

  1) Browse KPI in the form of Report

  2) Use KPI in Excel with user defined Chart Diagrams(Pie, Line, Bar etc)

  3) Can I create KPI as a Calculated Measures?

  not sure what you mean by "in the form of Report"...are you talking about an SSRS report?

  i think cube KPIs can only be used in a pivot chart...and only in Excel 2007 or higher

  yes, you can reference KPI "parts" (value, goal, trend, etc) in the MDX used to create the calculated measure... see this
