Hello all,
I'm having an issue with a FoxPro linked server throwing this error and wondered if anyone has any insight into what happened. The linked server worked fine up until sometime last night. I came into work this morning and found this error in a lot of emails and error logs.
I did find and read this article "SQL Server Memory Configuration, Determining MemToLeave Settings".
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Administration/67192/
I ran the query in the article and have the following results from it. It seems to me like I still have plenty of free space.
Total avail mem, KBMax free size, KB
277036157412
Is there any way of fixing this error without rebooting the cluster?
I just recently started managing the applications that use this as well as the server so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The OLEDB provider has a memory leak, hence the error will occur after repeated executions. See http://kbalertz.com/908915/receive-error-message-Microsoft-Provider-Visual-FoxPro-Server.aspx for the hotfix

Thank you for the response. I'm going to look into applying the patch for this and hopefully have this fixed.
