Hi,
I am just returning from a bootcamp on SQL Server 2008 BI.
I failed the MCTS but passed the MCITP (Don't ask how I managed that, but I did!?!) Oh! I have MCTS 2005 for SQL Server BI.
I know about the retake policy: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/exam-policies.aspx#retake
From that I am aware of the 14 day resit policy.
I was able to take the MCITP because I had attempted the MCTS.
So, what I cannot find anywhere is: I know that my MCTS 05 & MCITP 08 do not give me the MCITP certification and I 'must' pass the MCTS 2008 before Microsoft give me the full 2008 award, but, how long do I have to resit the MCTS. Or, is there no time limit in this case?
Regards - and thanks for any help you can give me.

No time limit that I know of.
When I wrote my 2008 exams, I wrote one of the ITPs as a beta, then came back almost a year later and did the MCTS.
