Need help with 70-431 practice

  • Hi everyone,

I have the Pass4Sure application: Interactive Test Engine 70-431 vs. 2.29. The practice exam has 80 questions. I have practiced so much that I can now answer any question without even fully reading the question 😛

My question is: The 70-431 test has these exact questions or some other questions also? If some other,is there another resource that has all possible questions?

Or in other words, is it possible to see a list of ALL possible questions that may be in the exam?

I know memorizing the answers is not a very good way, but I just want to pass the test 🙂

    Thanks,

    Oksana

  • Brain dumps are not allowed and violate the NDA. Don't look for the exact questions, try instead to take the chance of this exam to learn as much as you can.

That's generally referred to as cheating.

    Gianluca,

What does it mean <<Brain dumps are not allowed and violate the NDA>> ?

In my mind, cheating is when you take a piece of paper to the test with answers and try to look at it. If you really know (remember) the answers, how is that cheating?

    Gianluca,

What does it mean <<Brain dumps are not allowed and violate the NDA>> ?

It means that Microsoft doesn't allow disclosing the wording of exam questions with a "NDA" (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

    More info here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/exam-policies.aspx#tab2

Collections of real exam questions and relative answers are generally known as "brain dumps".

Using brain dumps violates the NDA and can be a reason for revoking certs.

Whether you take the paper with the answers or memorise the answers, it's the same thing. You're memorising the answers to the questions, not relying on your knowledge of the subject material in order to work out the answers when you get them. Obtaining actual exam papers and memorising answers would get you disciplinary hearings (or expulsion) at just about every respectable university or college

I will, at this point, draw your attention to the rules of the MS cert exams, as listed at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/exam-policies.aspx#tab2

I quote from that page (emphasis mine):

The Examinee may be prohibited from taking any Microsoft Certification Exams, and/or may be decertified as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) if Examinee violates this Exam Agreement and/or engages in any misconduct. [snip] Examples of misconduct and/or misuse of the Exam include, but are not limited to the following:

    * Submission of any work that is not completely your own

    * Providing or accepting improper assistance

    * Using unauthorized materials in an attempt to satisfy Exam requirements (this includes using braindump material and/or any unauthorized publication of Exam questions with or without answers)

    * Disseminating actual Exam content[snip]

Gail, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think Oksana violated the exam rules.

I don't know what's Pass4Sure, but there's a lot of simulated practice test books and training kits around.

If they all violated the NDA, it would really be a problem.
