I've been blessed with the opportunity to support SSRS for a vended application's reporting package and some custom reports.
I need to develop operating procedures and processes from scratch because our enterprise has not offered support for SSRS before.
I was hoping to gather some collective wisdom and resources for a few areas of concern:
Security
-- I don't want people developing and writing reports on the production SSRS.
-- I don't want anyone creating new data sources, etc on devleopment w/o my participation.
Change Control
--how do I promote reports/data sources from the development system to the production system?
SQL Data compare? Is there a deployer in BIDS?
Backup & Recovery
--I'm assuming a DB backup of the report server DB will save most of what I need, is there anything else.
Other
--there's a lot I don't know. Are there issues that should be on my radar?
Many thanks in advance,

I did find this helpful tool for migrating RS objects around.
Haven't tested it yet:
