  Hi All,

  One of our application (Application from vendor) report the below error.

  Exception: Unable to process a scheduled execution for the Notification Policy with guid {guid}. Reason: Sql error in query. Error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: Transaction context in use by another session.Sql CommandText:

  I searched for a solution to this problem in net and found that it was a bug in SQL 2005 and there was some fix for SP2. But we have SQL Server 2005 standard edition with SP3 (cudn't find any fix for SP3).

  I can not make changes to the source code as it's from vendor.

  Can anyone suggest a workaround please.

  NOTE - THIS ERROR DOESN'T OCCUR ALWAYS.. SOMETIMES IT WORKS FINE. SOMETIMES THROWS ERROR..!!!

  What procedure do u execute when this error occurs, can u please provide some more information?
