PRO: Designing, Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administrative Solution Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008
What is the difficulty level for passing the above exam for someone who has recently passed exam 70-432?
Recommendation/tips for passing 70-450 will be appreciated as well.

I think it is significantly more difficult. I recommend using the published information from Microsoft about what to study.
This is a bit of a study guide I put together along the topics Microsoft published on their site.

Thanks for the cool link.
I would hope going for 70-450 after passing 70-432 would make sense even if you have to wear multiple hats at your job???

I think it does make sense to do 450 after 432.

Please examine this study material.

Price is very good. However, anyone know with any certainty if Microsoft will consider it as a brain-dump? If there is any chance that they will then I do not want to buy it because you will get your cert revoked if Microsoft finds out.

I think 450 follows quite naturally from 432. It seems to take a deeper - higher level approach to DBA work. Think architectural more than in the trenches admin...
From what I found there is no dedicated book like there is for 432 - although I found that that gave a false sense of security somewhat.

Matt: I totally understand that 450 is harder than 432, but you might get surprised based on how much you know or don't know.
I'm also aware there is no study book for 450.
However, the question is, could the below prep material be considered as a braindump by Microsoft???

Anyone else have an opinion?

i am doing preparation of 70-450from certifyweb.com study material and its reliable for exam preparation

I preface this by saying that I have not used certifyweb or the study materials in the ebay link.
I am very leery of using any such material due to the common nature of how the material is obtained - via braindump.
Study the material as proposed by the Microsoft site (and even the study guide I mentioned earlier in the thread). The exams should not be too difficult if you have plenty of hands on experience.
