Need help with Migration from 2005 to 2008

  Hi I'm new to SSIS and this forum, please help me.

  PRESENT SCENARIO:

  WINDOWS SERVER 2003 SP2 (64BIT)

  BIDS 2005

  SSIS 2005

  I have about 50-55 packages that i need to migrate tothe new server (WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 SP1-64 BIT).

  BIDS 2008R2

  SSIS 2008

  Can anyone please tell me how to migrate? How do i do the backup on the old server ( I imported the packages from the file systems to MSDB), how do i restore? I mean where should i do it? In BIDS or SSMS?

  On the new server do i have to open these PACKAGES in BIDS or SSMS? I dont see an option in BIDS.

  Please any help is greatly appreciated.
