While Profiler Does have several starter or begining traces I was wondering if anyone of you gurus had some of your own customized trace files that you'd be wiling to share that:
Shows ALL DML statements (be they within an SP, UDf or whatever) and no other actions
SHows All DDL statements and NO other actions.
If these already are in the Profiler sample templates just tell me which ones because last I looked at them none were like what I'm looking for; they either did not capture all I needed or it included way to much. I could manually put one together (I assume) but I'm not a Profiler guru and it would be a big time saver if someone else had something like this or knew of a sample template that does it.
Thanks
Kindest Regards,

I have several templates, and I also have code for capturing server side trace data. I was not aware that we could post file attachments though because the trace templates are .tdf files.

Thanks for the offer Toby; I was wondering what I said wrong for this is the first post ever to not get a couple of responses when the post wasn't something that wasn't your run of the mill evceryday item.
As for sharing teh files you shoul be able to just rename them with atxt extension, yes? I've never uploaded anything so I wasn;t aware of the restriction. I do hope the suggestion of renming the extension isn't some a violation of the sites posting rules though.
Jack Corbett, Lynn Pettis, Steve??? You guys all still alive? Typically the odds of the first reply to a post as coming from one of you 3 is at least %75 if not higher.

The only thing you can attach are images and links. Anyway it should only take you about 30 minutes to create all the templates you want to use. That is probably why no one responded because you are asking for something that is very easy for you to create. Besides, you know what is relevant for your environment.

I know what I'm looking for but I'm not that familiar with Profiler itself and I was hoping to save myself an hour or two's worth of work by getting a copy of what others probably already have. Code sharing goes on a lot around here, I just didn't realize that Profiler Trace Templates were one of the excpetions.
I'll check eslewhere.
Thanks for replying
