I am looking for someone to help out on specific SQL based tasks on an hourly/daily rate (negotiable). I would ideally like this person to be UK (London or Brighton) based.
As background... I am a freelance web developer and a project I work on is getting bigger and bigger, requiring specialist SQL help I cant provide. Sql server is increasingly consuming more and more resources on the server (100% of 2 of 4 processors most times), and we need help on sorting this out for the future, ranging from advice on overall architecture, to perfomance tuning, to honing some of the stored proceedures I have written (which I have no doubt are a main cause of the bottle necks). Basically this is not my area of speciality and so we need someone who has those skills to come on board.
Initially I see a few days work here, but knowing this client and the work they have coming up this could grow, and they could become a good long term client for any freelancer who might want this.
