  hi .......

  we are using sql server 2005 sp2 on windows server 2003

  we have to upgrade to sql server 2005

  all our development and testing machines use standard edition of sql server 2005 and we ned to upgrade it to sql server standard 2008

  same for servers.

  any help links may be helpful.

  You can find tons of advice by googling. I've found it's not that different from upgrading from 2000 to 2005.
