Maintenance Plan failure

  • Hey guys,

All of so sudden, some of my maintenance plans reporting failure with the below error:

Description: The package path referenced an object that cannot be found: "\Package\Index ReBuild and Backup.Disable". This occurs when an attempt is made to resolve a package path to an object that cannot be found. End Warning DTExec: Could not set \Package\Index ReBuild and Backup.Disable value to false.

I am running on SQL Server 2005 (SP3) on win 2003 enterprise 32 bit.

Needs to mentioned that nothing has changes on any of the side which could be the prime suspects for this failure.

The Job owner, configurations everything is same.

I browse through the forums but did not find any possible solutions or guides for this issue. Is there anybody else who has the same problem or faced the same problem in the past?

Not much. I already went through this post and tried re-registering the DTS.dll several times but even after successful re-registeration that did not resolves the issue.
